Words about my booklet

My final project accordion booklet may have been my favorite project. When I was told I need twelve separate pages with content I immediately thought of the twelve colors on a color wheel.  At first all I knew was that I wanted to incorporate all colors into my booklet. I then later decided I wanted to add polygons and shapes of all kinds. I decided to use, circles, triangles, squares, pentagons, hexagons, and octagons. And I wanted these shapes to have a three-dimensional style. For each shape, I duplicated and enlarge/shrunk it around the original, then added a pleasing color scheme. After I created and colored six different polygons I then duplicated them and changed the color, creating twelve different shapes and color schemes. Then I adjusted the size of all the shapes down to a 4.5 in x 6 box to print onto a 11 in x 17 cardstock tabloid. Once printed I used a ruler and exacto knife to cut out my desired pages. Then using glue, I glued them together along with a front and back cover. I had plenty of time to work on this project but I could always use more. Overall all I really liked the final product and it came out exactly the way I had envisioned it.
